Without a doubt Airplane has to be one of the funniest films I have ever watched. I have seen it so many times I know the lines by heart and they still make me laugh. I especially love the Saturday Night Fever spoof and the Tupperware mickey take.

When I was younger ie between 1975 and 1980 The Woody Allen films, such as All you ever wanted to know about sex....., and the first Airplane film with Leslie Nielsen were the funniest.
Today, a french film called "Le Diner des cons" is a must. The DVD has english dubbing and sub-titles.

"1941" by Steven Spielberg.
Big cast in little parts. Begins like Jaws, (same girl skinny-dipping).
Slim Pickens in the German U-Boat with a Japanese crew, in the bathroom trying to go, is absolutely hilarious.
