For example, I found a fully functional laptop w/ all accessories on morning while walking the dog, my son found a $100.00 bill on the way to the bus.

Back when I was a kid, I found a man's wallet. It did have some money in it and a lottery ticket. We turned it into the store where I found it and the owner called the store to see if someone turned it in. It turns out the lottery ticket was a winner, but I don't remember how much it was worth. He did give me a reward for turning it in. My daughter has found gift cards in our yard! I think a nice neighbor of ours was doing it because ever since he moved, the gift cards have stopped.

Once, years ago, I found a 20 dollar bill. But that's about as good as it gets. And I was going to type something else, but I don't want to start an argument with a stranger....so.....

My daughter and I found a credit card from a very wealthy lady.
We gave it back to the store (that she owned) and never received a thank you.
It was my daughter who spotted it and thought of taking it into the store right away. She was 11 at the time and I was very proud of her. We went out to lunch to celebrate our good deed!
