I've asked the same question. We don't need him. He's too judgmental. He's arrogant. He's a major megalomaniac. But most of all, he's a big bag of Hot Air that the Queen of Self-Righteousness (OPRAH) designated as our "educated Lord and Master".
Because he exists, we are now afflicted with Global Warming. He and Oprah are enough to melt Antarctica with all their hot air.

I love Dr.Phil and he exists because people need to hear the truth without it being sugar coated..if you just sit and listen you might learn something..he is awesome I have like 3 of his books and I think he's a freaking genius..not everyone is gonna like him...and that's ok just change the channel...I loved him from the start..thank you Oprah!

Because Oprah endorsed his practice and his psychology books. He is a icon within the recovery community. What he says happens to be true to fact and right on, so anyone that complains would be having major problems and living in denial.

To annoy my husband. I like to catch the beginning of the show just to see what the "topic" is and how far out it is. This annoys my husband to no end.
