My dad went to be with Jesus 30 years ago at the age of 44, he died from a massive heart attack 5 days before my first daughter his first granddaughter was born.

My dad is still alive, and I'm really sorry for your dad. It must be hard to spend the Father's Day without your dad. Just remember to be happy, because I'm sure that if he was alive he would want you to be happy.

Very nice! Mine died many years ago. The first fathers day after he died I bought a card and took it out to the cemetery. I got it back before the weather messed it up and have it in a shadow box with some of his other belongings that are dear to me.

Yep, he's still going. I'm sure he's at the race track and casino already this morning.
My dad and I have had a strained relationship most of our lives, but in the last few years, he has mellowed out. It makes it a lot easier to appreciate him.
He still drives me nuts on occasion, but yes, it's better to have him here to drive me nuts than to be without.
My thoughts are with you today.

My father left me and my siblings when I was a young boy... so for Father's day I wish him all the loneliness and disrespect he certainly deserves... I can thank him for one thing only... that he had me so that I could have the loving family I have now !!! Sorry that your Father has passed... I'm sure you miss him !!!

My father passed about 4 years ago as well. I'm sure they both will receive their messages on this special day.

My father is alive indeed, living faraway from me, in Canada and I'm in Finland. I plan to wish him a good father's day as soon as he wakes up.

My biological one is deceased but my step-father is still alive and I did make it special for him. I am also inviting my parents and my husbands parents over next week for a BBQ in honor of our dads.
