Yes, the Bears will return to the Superbowl or at least the NFC championship game. Don't listen to the people that said the next season is a curse for SB runnerups ( seriously, who's our competition in the NFC North, the Lions, Vikings, or Packers, seriously) Rex has improved, Adrian Peterson is very underrated, and we can survive 10 games without Lance, because he is not the team. Plus, people don't give Cedric Benson credit because anyone can get injuried ( including Rex) and come out to have an okay season ( Rex)
Plus, I can probably name the for sure wins for you
2 vs. Lions
1 vs. Raiders
1 vs. Skins
at least 1 to Green Bay
at least one to Minnesota
Kansas City ( pending)
1 vs. Giants
1 vs. Dallas or Philedphia
Look at that, if we win those games, then we've won like 10 or 12 games
Teams that are pending
Chargers ( L.T. vs. Urlacher, good mathup)
Denver ( Rex vs. Champ Baily, obvisously M. Muhammad won't be a factor in that game)
Saints ( suprised everybody and only got better)
One team in the NFC east
I predict 12-4 or 13-3, and 14-2 with a little luck
O yea good point Kansas City 88 where did those " so called excellent QB's take their teams?" I agree 100%

yeah go bears!!!
but seriously I think we got a good team maybe better than last year, sure Lance wont play and we have a problem at DT with Tank gone but I like Jamar Williams and they he will cover Lances spot well and Tommie Harris if he's feeling fine he is like two people on the line plus Adam Archeleta and Mike Brown back there is great. Olsen will open up the middle of the field for Grossman to throw to the outside and Garrett Wolfe and Devin Hester on offense are great. not to mention Cedric Benson who will break out as a starter this year with Grossman inproving on his mistakes. we got a team man Bears superbowl 42 champs!

The offense has been dramatically rebilt, looked at their transactions during and after the draft - they picked up several talented rookies (Olsen, Wolfe, Ball, Leak ect) while finally putting Hester on offense (a risky move). The team has already made it to the Super Bowl. Sure, the lost Thomas Jones, but look at Indy, the year after they lost Edgerrin James, they managed to win the Super Bowl.
As long as they can remain healthy, and play consistently they stand the shot of at least making it to the NFC Championship game. And by playing consistently, actually having someone taking snaps who plays like a quarterback as opposed to a raw gunslinger.

I hope so! You are so right. They did draft Garret Wolfe and dont forget about Cedric Benson and Adrian Peterson. Greg Olsen and Devin Hester will help the offense a ton! They will give Rex Grossman more hope. If all their players play good and maybe better as last year, they could make it!!!!!
GO BEARS!!!

No, I don't think you guys will make it to the Superbowl again. I don't know why the Bear's traded Thomas Jones, and now Cedric Benson has to carry the Load. I think Rex Grossman is going to have a better year than last, but he still will blow a lot of games.
I think you guys will win the division, no really big competition for 1st place. I think the bears will reach the NFC championship again, carried by the Defense, and lose to the saints. The saints are just too good offensively this year for anyone to shut them down.
I think this year will be a repeat of last, but you guys will get beaten this time by New Orleans.

If the Bears could get to the Superbowl with this so-called "bad" QB, then what happens when he improves the next season. Funny how people down Rex Grossman, especially people/fans from other teams. Where did YOUR QB, who's waaaay better than Grossman get your team? Nuff said! Anyway, the Bears have as good a chance to get back to the Superbowl as anybody. The Seahawks didnt get bad last season after their SB appearance. They did lose Alexander and Hasselbeck and a the TE (his name escapes me) but they won the division....again.If Seattle can do it, and get back to the playoffs, the Bears should be able to do it too! The only problem they would have is if they DONT have HFA throughout the NFC playoffs. If they dont, it'll be hard for them to win a playoff game on the road, considering where they MAY have to play. Anywhere from NO, Dallas, Philly, Seattle, etc. All tough places to play in the playoffs!

If the bears get the 2nd seed. they are going to win. with the aid of fact Saints will bypass into the dome and beat the Falcons. Then the saints, a dome group, in the chilly against the bears. i will take the Bears.

hmm... seems possible , however if you look at every super bowl loser you'll find the next season they go into a so called 'hibernation' (no pun intented for Bears) You can just think of how the players will think the coach didn't doo great and visa versa. So it takes another season for them to get back in order. But who knows? they could prove us all wrong!
Hope this helps,
Hunter

I would say no only because the odds of getting back to the championship game in any sport is really slim. It takes a bit of luck to go along with the talent.

Avoid injuries and I think they have a real chance. They have been to the big dance and that thirst is in the players.
They are also a target as they went to the SB.
good team, good players. I would like to see them go back again.
