In baseball, if you argue with an umpire and you accuse that ump of cheating (i.e. accusing him of making an unjust call solely for the benefit of the other side-- for example, suppose that the other side was the Yankees), is it correct that you can be tossed for it? In other words, if you accuse him of unjustly calling you out so the Yankees could win or unjustly calling a Yankee safe just to keep the inning alive for them to possibly rally from a deficit/extend a lead, can you be tossed for that?

it depends on how heated the conversation gets...

Sometimes just a certain look from a player will get him tossed. Some umpires have a short fuse while others will allow you to have your say... as long as it isn't too heated or vulgar... and don't make contact with them.
All in all both umpires and players have respect for each other. They both have a job to do and want to get it done with the least amount of problems.
As your question indicates... every baseball game is filmed. If there was the slightest thought that an umpire was doing as you suggest... he would be called into the office for questioning. Major league umpires make a lot... that's a lot... of money. They wouldn't take a chance of losing their jobs, or their respect. On the field it's just another day at the office and they couldn't care less what teams are playing.

An umpire can toss you from the game for any reason, it all depends on the umpire. Some will tolerate more than others. I coached youth baseball for many years and I can remember one game where an umpire made a very bad call against our team and our fans were all over him, from the stands, on the call. He came over and told me if the fans didn't calm down he would throw me out of the game. I came out of the dugout and asked the fans to keep it down and they stopped. The very next play also went against us, on a call from the same umpire, but that call could have gone either way. Once again the fans let him have it and without any other warning he tossed me from the game. There is not a fixed list of things that must occur before you can get tossed, it is all up to the umpire.

If you really believe the umpire is cheating, you are going about it all wrong. Look, if he's not cheating and you say to his face that he IS, how do you THINK he's going to react? If he IS, what do you EXPECT him to do? Go through the proper channels. Record all the particulars you are involved with or that you see, and then go to league officials. They are not interested in having bad umpires work for them. It's sort of like a city having corrupt policemen.

If I were umpiring and someone called me a cheat, I'd toss him AND file a formal complaint. If I were crooked, why, I'd do exactly the same thing.

The umps have all of the power in the world. Usually umps are taught to try to keep they're cool and ignore the manager, but they do have the right to kick a player out for a false accusation.
