I mean I'm trying to do what I can to change things I disagree with by getting out and doing something about it are you? Or are you just sitting around complaing about it expecting someone else to fix it for you?

Don't know wha you mean by Rambo. Yes I spent 10 years serving my country, but now that I'm out I'm trying to get involved in other ways. Letters to congress, local political activities and such, and I'm working on a website as well. Is that enough? Probably not, but I'm doing what I can now.

I'm fairly sure that you and I do not differ on politics. The complaining sort of earmarks the Liberals these days.
But I think that our free speech is very important, valuable even, and is doing something.
I dislike liberalism. But I deplore apathy.

We elect government officials who tell us they'll act in our best interest. When we find out they're not living up to those promises we let them know and vote them out of office. That's why the Democrats now control the House and Senate. If you'd feel better if I stand at the border of Mexico and stop the fence jumpers or if I go to Iraq and join the thousands of brave troops who have died to satisfy Bush's idiotic agenda, will you be happy then?

Yes I do try to voice my opinions to my MP my MPP And City Councillor. I have gone to their office and met them or there workers I have left letters of complaint and praise there as well. the easy thing to do is vote and vote wisely. this is why I like the Parliament system of government. I have more parties to chose from and parliamentarians listen when they loos votes.
