I don't know if I understand your question. What are you asking? Am I interested in psychological testing and why? or What would I ask about psychological testing?
I give psychological tests and I have found that sometimes interesting observations are confirmed through testing, but there are many types of tests: Intelectual tests, tests of adaptive ability, interest test, personality tests, tests of memory, test of psychoneurological functioning, sensory tests, achievement tests, reading tests, vocational tests. Tests can be used for many things and I think people should have a proper attitude to give a test. Many times tests are most informative when you analyze the differences between certain portions of the test, since each test is often composed of sections and each item tests a different aspect of whatever the test is about. Testing is an entire aspect of psychology called the study of Tests and Measurement.
So, if I knew what you were asking, I might give you a more direct answer. Good luck in your search.
