Mites you will be able to see on the snake and in the enclosure. If its mites use Prevent -a - mite spray to kill the mites in the enclosure. You can find it on line or at most pet shops. If it is ticks you will be able to see a grayish round bump . To remove a tick , take a hot match ( not lit )and touch to the back of the tick , not the snake and remove with tweezers .We really need to have more info to determine what the problem is . A picture would also help. You can post a photo and get more info at www.repticzone.com on the Ball Python forum . We need to know your set up , temps , lighting , heating , substrate , how long have you noticed the bumps etc . If it is blister disease he needs to be seen by a vet .A vet check can not hurt and may be necessary.

this has happened to me before. im talking from experience and not out of sites or anything. this is the most down to earth answer youll get. these bumps may be scars or mites. keep feeding him regularly, and keep going on regularly until he sheds. once he completley finishes the whole process check out his skin. if the bumps are still their, bring him back to where you bought him from, and if they are a reliable smart source then they will tell you whats wrong or what to do. they might even do things themselves if they are smart. let them do everything and if they screw sumthin up, then they are screwed. but most likeley ur snake will be all right not needing any operation.

sounds like mites or ticks, are the scales bumped up? you local petshop should have a mite remedy, and you will have to throughly clean out the enclousure, and quarentine tank, to completely get rid of them. it is normal for this pests to be found on wild caught species. if you have had your snake for awhile and it is just now experianceing this, you have have accidently conaminated his enclousure, expecially if you just aquired new reptile enclousure furnishings, or have a new reptile. i wold recommend a vet visit just to make shure, but most good reptile petstores carry the pesticide, and it it is usually harmless to your animal. you could even take your snake in to the petstore, if they know anything about reptiles. and ask them what they think it is, but still the best way of course is going to be a vet visit. good luck

It could also be blister disease. If the snake is kept in a dirty or too moist of enclosure, it will develop bumps. You need to take it to a vet to find out what is wrong and what to do to correct whatever caused them

Snakes do not inevitably could devour a week. the decide for not kill the mouse in the event that they are actually not going to devour it. i comprehend from adventure that Ball pythons are very picky eaters, and that they might from time to time pass months with out eating. do not difficulty too plenty. Zig Zag could in simple terms not be hungry. examine the cage and spot if he pooped out the final mouse he ate. If not, he can't devour till it comes out. additionally, you stated you have basically had him for 3 weeks, it is the person-friendly time for them to get used to a sparkling place. How vast are your pythons? How vast is the terrarium? this would influence Zig Zag, with the aid of fact the cage could be too small for the the two one in all them. you do not could separate the snakes in simple terms with the aid of fact one ate and the different one did not. in simple terms be sure the cage is sufficiently vast for the the two one in all them to be delicate (sufficient: water, basking, hiding, hiking, ... for all people of them) And approximately what the different human beings stated approximately bringing it to the vet: do not do it. you would be waisting your money. verge of fall down Zig Zag to the vet if it regurgitates the nutrition or would not devour for a at the same time as longer. Zig Zag would be laying off. Snakes do not devour formerly they shed. look into its eyes, and in the event that they're kindda modern, that is going to shed. if so, strengthen the humidity interior the cage with the aid of spraying water. yet another good trick is to soak it in heat water for slightly. wish this helped! ;-D

Snakes get mites.
Vaseline on the skin is supposed to work well, but a vet specializing in exotics should be consulted with.
