They're primarily about relationships,... usually very dramatic,. and they have great story-telling abilities... they rely on good stories and not on special effects... you'd be wise to watch a dozen or so,. even if it's past the deadline, just watch some - you'll see what I'm talking about.

I hate most French movies because they do senseless things in them and they say its art
I never understood their look at art
Perfume for example was so idiotic, in the end they eat the guy?(if I'm not mistaken) What kind of an ending is that

How approximately Luc Besson's Angel-A? it particularly is a fifteen certificates movie in French with the aid of Luc Besson, of 5th element and Leon repute. it particularly is a few finished loser who's helped from the rut wherein he's got here across himself with the aid of the strikingly beautiful Angela. i won't be able to bear in mind something quite vulgar or violent in it, different than at one element a honest volume of implied prostitution, so in case you think of that would not be geared as much as in spite of reason, do not say i did not alert you :P with a bit of luck it is not too properly regular even no count if it particularly is with the aid of a sought after director. From IMDB: "André, a small-time ex-convict, seems to owe money to quite everyone in Paris, alongside with a criminal offense boss who provides to kill him if he would not pay off him with the aid of night. After failing to discover protection from the yankee embassy and the French police, a despairing André scrambles onto a bridge over the Seine, proceeding to leap to his demise. he's shocked to work out a tall, beautiful woman clinging to a rail on the same bridge, curiously making waiting to end her existence as properly. She jumps, and he jumps too, unexpectedly resolving to shop her existence. After scrambling ashore, she tells him her call is Angel-A. mutually, they take a cruise on the Seine, pay off André's lenders, pass to a Parisian nightspot, and extra, as Angel-A helps André. He learns that for this purpose she has fallen out of the sky and into his existence. André reveals himself falling in love with this mysterious splendor." Andre Delacroix.

Nearly all of them are pretentious. Their directors and screenwriters are would-be artists. Poor dweebs, they are fascinated by serious arts like painting and poetry--but they have only enough talent to churn out movies!
