Thanks again to everyone who has given their opinion before but now we have shortened the list after deciding and looking at the replies of the majority. Here is the overview. My husband and I are a couple weeks away from having our sixth son. We are South African. My name is Kate and my husband's name is Brendan. We love all our sons dearly.
They are
Daryll Bracken (10 years)
Stephen Nickolas (8 years)
Brent Hayden (6 years)
Shaun Klusener (3 years)(twin)
Jonty(Jonathan) Archer (3 years)(twin)

We have some options that we both agreed on. We are having trouble on choosing one of the names for our sixth son. We have now shortened the list to two names.
They are
Louis Kendrick
Xavier Kendrick

Note that our last name is Rhodes

No one of my twin sons is not named Jonty but is actually named Jonathan. Everyone calls him Jonty because of our last name and because of Jonty Rhodes. We call him Jonty unless we go to meet my cousin the real SA cricketer Jonty, then we call him Jonathan. So nobody ask me any further questions about my other sons because Im just here to ask you your opinions for the name of my sixth son. Thanks

First off i'd like to say that the rest of your son's names are very nice and unquie names that are perfect for childhood and then adulthood.
Now for your sixth child, i'd like to say my name choice would be Louis Kendrick. I like the name because Louis means Fame and war, which to me seems like it means that he will be a strong boy. Xavier i like, but it is a college so teasing could be harsh. They may want to call him things like "The brain" or a nerd because he shares the same name as a college. Also it has no definition according to babynamesworld.com. Unless it has a special meaning to you both then why put the child thru teasing that may happen. Kendrick is a good, strong, unqiue middle name that you dont hear about to often. I'd say go with Louis, its good for when he is an adult and its great for when he is a kid for you could could nickname him Louy or Lou. Good luck and are there any sisters in that bunch!? Congratulations on the baby boy!

Xavier Kendrick stands out more

or you could throw in Louis as 2nd middle name now that some kids have 2 middle names....

Good Luck!

I see your son is named Jonty would that be after the cricket player? I prefer Louis better than xavier, its just a bit more stylish to me. :)

Xavier, definitley. I was considering Xavier with my son I'm pregnant with now but my husband and I chose James instead. Maybe we'll use Xavier the second time around :)

Good luck with 6 kids, you must be proud!

What about using all 3 names and giving your son 2 middle names? Its not unheard of. Or take letters from the other 5 children's names and come up with something unique.

I would go with Xavier, or Zavier (slighty different pronounciations) just Xavier is hard for little kids to pronounce and Z names are cool lol (ask my son lol)

Congrats on your boys, how wonderful, I love my wee men!!
