You are wrong on at least two counts. First, 55 million are not stupid, we have the right to vote for whomever we choose. Second, Mr. Bush was elected twice. Chances are many more than 55 million people voted for him. Mr. Bush is a good man.

Seems like freeing people from oppressive rule so peace can take root is a noble goal. If the tables were turned I would appreciate a helping hand as well.
Let's keep each other honest. Where is your intel that shows pulling out now will improve the situation in the Middle East? For a decision that has equal if not greater consequences then going in we need no intel to form a rational desicion?? Whose stupid?

William, let me pre-warn you. There are still many true conservatives out there who are fighting for our lives and freedom. I know that I am and I see many others like myself.
If you think that things are bad now, vote for a Democrat during the next election and watch what is left of your freedom disappear. If you want to work hard to support those who don't, if you idolize socialism, if you want even more of your paycheck robbed, vote for the left. It will have little effect on me, because I'm older and frankly if a Democrat gets into office, I'll close my business down and be done with it. I know many others who will do the same.
Jon B. You're an idiot.

Run someone besides a pompous Northeastern Liberal. I'll add to that an unknown whose claim to fame is that he is black and didn't vote for Iraq. A woman whose claim to fame is that she was victimized by her husband. A North Carolina trial lawyer who obviously didn't help the pompous NE Lib, but has great hair. Need I go on?
Suthrnlyts, I am right there with you on that.

The fact that you do not agree with someones politics does not mean he/she is stupid. Also, the fact that Bush was elected twice means that somepeople like his way of running things. If you do not like him or the values he represents, vote for someone with different values. The results of the election will show where other people stand.

There's nobody the Democrats can elect who won't be alot worse than Bush.
That is the sad reality of it.
You will just get the same thing as Bush plus with alot more government intrusion into your personal life plus you will see your rights and freedom rapidly disappear right before your eyes.
Life is sad.
The truth hurts.

Give me a democrat who does not want to raise my taxes , who has a plan for stabilizing Iraq instead of running from our responsiblities, who isn't into socialist heathcare, who isn't into more social programs and I'll consider voting for them.

Vote Democrat. From the looks of it now, the Republican candidate is likely to be an authoritarian warmonger (Giuliani), or one who is easily controlled by such people, (Romney), or a guy who spent 17 years working as a Washington lobbyist (Thompson).
More than 53 million people voted for Kerry, and religion and advertising influenced many of the Bush voters, they weren't ALL stupid.

I will vote for Obama. And most of those that voted for Bush now regret it. What was the latest approval rating? 20% Hmmm, don't blame the conservatives though. They were just taken in by rhetoric. Not everyone has the ability to recognize a snake oil salesman.
