Have a word with my exes mum - she used to be able to make Monkeys Fly just by saying 'Fly My Little Pretties' or some such like.
I asked her if her neck ached from constantly looking up - waiting for the farmhouse to drop on her head!

I suspect you mean a paper monkey. Get a stick and attach a piece of threadlike elastic to the stick and to the monkey, then stand still while you circle the stick around you. When I was a kid they used to have birds on a stick like I described, at tourist parks.
