I have a one computer in the kitchen and another in the study. The one in the kitchen is connected to the net through a speedtouch router. I want the one in the study to be connected to the same connection but without running a line through the house, nor using a wireless router. Can i connect the computer in the study to this connection using the phoneline in that room? (only got the one phoneline) Thanks in advance, also this is my first question :)

Well your phone line wont work as it is just wired differently than network lines.

You can get ethernet to powerline adapters which will turn your power lines into "network" lines.

You use an adapater in both rooms and just connect ethernet from your computer to a "wall plug" in the study.

The powerline system might be your best solution if you don't want to run additional cable or use wireless.

look it is impossible to connect them without a cable or wifi, look the wifi will cost u a bit of cash. But the crossover ethernet cable is for like $10 at DSE DICKSMITH Electronics. You have to choose either wifi or cable.
