once you push the capability button, did you notice the followers turn ? I honestly have considered mb with out beeps whilst there is not any capability to the CPU. On corre 2 duo or pentium 4, there are minimum of two capability cables might desire to bypass to the motherboard. a million is the 20/24 pin cable. yet another is the 4 pin capability cable basically for the CPU circuitry. in case you probably did no longer plugged interior the CPU capability cable or plugged in incorrectly, then no beeps and not something will artwork. Double verify that. in many circumstances, if different factor fails, you ought to have some beeps. consequently, verify your CPU, commencing from cable, then the CPU seating interior the sockets, verify the LGA775 socket to be sure if any pin bent.

Try running PC w/ bare minimum. That means detached HDD, FDD, CD drive, only one stick RAM if possible and integrated graphics if available. This set up allows you only to go to BIOS menu but if stable enough for 20 to 30 minutes, the problem could be in one of those devices that were detached. Reconnect one at a time then test your PC. If problem returns, it is due to the last device you reinstalled.
If problem still persists, try detaching motherboard from its mounting in the casing. Run the PC w/ motherboard not touching any metal part of the case. This set up rules out a grounded motherboard.
If problem still persists, the remaining possibilities are just an unstable power supply or a defective motherboard.
The processor is difficult to damage unless you are volt modding.

I would say either a memory (ram) problem or a power supply problem, I would try a different power supply to start with, have some one do this if you are not comfortable swapping out parts, I would also take out the memory modules and re seat them, and while you/they are at it, take out the graphics card and re seat that as well, (that's if your system has a separate card in there).

Nothing wrong with your PC. Your electrical connections are loose. Where ever you have plugged your pc check it over there.
