I had threee readings mainly looking for hope. The first two were identifiable, the third Im not sure I can believe. The last one seemed to be giving me life knowledge just to make the bill higher and I won't go back to her. Im going to stop because im looking for hope. guess ive got to think what will be will be.

They're taking advantage of your desperation for answers. If they were genuine, they would come to you, not the other way around.

I don't know if "most" are genuine or not but I do know there are some very good ones out there. The best way to find a good psychic is by word of mouth. Talk to people who have seen this psychic before. It's like buying any other product, you have to do some research and find what's right for you. Don't just stop off at some psychic reader you see on the corner.
In my experience a good psychic will tape the session and give you the tape so you can review it at other times. Also, different psychics use different techniques, some are better in particular areas then others. Even good psychics are not always 100% accurate but most are 90% accurate.

Lastly you can be your own psychic, we all have the abilities and it's really just a matter of relaxing and practicing. You can take a course on how to do this.

Whats the difference between psychics, priests, Jehovah witnesses, etc?
There is no difference, they all expect you to believe what they are telling you without any real evidence or without being questioned. Some even expect to be paid......

I can understand that they may give you a little hope..... but really.....

If you want comfort, imagine what the spirits would say to you if they thought you could hear them. Or imagine what your loved ones would suggest to you if they were still alive today.

People often go to psychics for answers that they feel they can't get from anyone else accept those who we used to rely on and have passed away. Try and remember the relationship that you had with that person, and see if you can take a leaf out of their book and develop a similar relationship with someone else.

I think going to 'psychics' is good for a laugh with a gang of friends, something to do for a different night out, but I would never believe a word of it! As for going to a 'psychic' for help in life, I think not.
You've been taken advantage of, I'm afraid, and some people are very cold-blooded - they don't care that you're looking for answers, they can't see past your wallet.
Save your money, look within yourself to find hope. Go to your local library, sit down in the quiet space there and write out everything that's troubling you. Then write down practical ways of dealing with those problems. Then go home and follow through on your plans.
It will be far more constructive, and won't cost you a penny.

I went to a psychic in febuary. she told me that my dead granda was handing me a baby. She said i was pregnant. She then said if i wasnt i would be soon and it would be a girl. She said i would have a baby in my arms by the end of the year and if not ill be heavily pregnant. She knew my dad doesnt like me and said its a cheek cos he was worse than me for being a rebel. True. She said my boyfriends mum is old before her time. True. She said my boyfriend has recovered from a mental breakdown. True. She said a lot of things that were true and a lot of things that ill have to wait to find out about. But most shocking of all - Im pregnant and the babys due on either the 31st of Dec or 1st January!

I don't think those who charge for their services are genuine. Those who have a gift and just want to help people don't charge for their time. I would have more faith in a psychic who would help out with a police department in trying to solve a crime than in one who charges you money to tell you what may or may not happen in the future. They're generally so vague that what they say HAS to be true. "Someone is thinking of you, that person has an S in his or her name." Yeah, S is a very common letter. Heck, I could pretend to be psychic just by asking enough open ended questions and being very vague in my answers.

I was watching a documentry on psychics and it said that most of them real from a "cold script". Im sure you can google it. Its like a page full of bits and bobs that relates to almost anyone.
I just think psychics are good body language readers.
Most think they are actually psycic. Suppose if you convince yourself that much you will start believing it!

I went to a psychic & she told me alot of things that I had dreamed of,it's difficlut to have known those thins 7 she gave me alot of hope & reminded me to not forget my dreams & have faith that they CAN come true...I think she a psychic healer rather than telling my future...
she did give me alot of hope & I think there are some ungenuine psychics & you get that with any profession (eg mechanics, plumbers etc) & especially that in this field it is that much more difficult to prove...
you have to realize you don't need someone else to give you hope, you can have hope on ur own...belive that ur dreams can come true & you can win in any situation....I agree I sometimes say whatver will be will be & Thy Will be done but also hang on to ur dreams & have hope that they could come true.

The real problem is not about the psychics. Is about your search for hope.! What if you were told there is no hope. What if you then accepted this. Hope is escape from the present, avoidance of what is happening now. Thats the problem.

I believe some people have intuitive gifts, that some dont understand.

I have been to lots of physics/mediums all for social, leisure reasons.

One sitting with a lady in Belfast was very poignant and she described freinds and family who had crossed and gave messages from them. She advised on other family members problems, things she could not possibly have known.

So I was quite impressed.

I suppose its like everything in life. You have to keep searching until the best one comes along.
