I have stood up and peed many times before because I don't like sitting on public toilets. But it isn't really a "stand" more of a head leaning forward, knees bent position. As if I were a rocket ready to shoot up to space.
I do admit however nasty it may seem that I have stood straight up in the shower and peed. What usually happens is the pee just trickles down one of my legs and is really gross.
I suppose I could practice at it and pull the top of that area up and try to get a good aim and stand over the toilet. But why would I go through all that effort just to pee... So since I don't have a penis that I can easily hold and aim, I must be content with sitting on the toilet. Which is fine by me. =)

If you did a little research, you would find they could actually do it quite well. It's just a matter of opening legs and slightly bending knees while holding their lips open so they don't mess up the stream. I recall watching and X girlfriend pee an amazing stream about 6 feet forward, and she only used a couple fingers of one hand to hold herself the proper way. There are actually a couple web sites that show and tell how to do it.

Girls cannot pee in standing position as the shape of the vegina is elongated and the urine does not come in uniform way but comes in very disrupted was. so they need to sit.
Now they can pee in standing but they need to use their hands for doing so. they need to block the upper or lower part while peeing

Of course I can pee standing, but I still have to pull my pants down, and watch for spillage. Naked in the shower I do just fine.

They can, I have seen it, they are just too embarrassed to get their legs wet and most don't know they can pee backward while standing by bending forward, but the risk of drippage is always there due to the large amount of flesh that gets in the way and the reluctance of many girls to handle that area.

We can, but it would go down our legs.. Guys have a penis so they can aim it... We can't we just use gravity! haha But actually I kinda do pee half-standing.. with my knees bent a little and my butt to the back. In the public bathrooms, you know, where you don't want to touch anything.

Actually I do pee when standing up sometimes but one reason why I don't as a norm is because it can be uncomfortable.

They can but they need to sit because they have no control of their bowel movements and sometimes when they pee they also poop without realizing it. When this happens it can be very emberrasing because if you think of the logistics, say if they are wearing a dress and drop the dress to their knees while they stand to pee, they end up pooing all overt their dress. Now wouldnt that be a mess! Now you know he reason.

We lack guy's built in ability to aim, which means we can't direct the stream away from our legs! We can spread our legs wide, but since we probably have to take some clothes off to do that, why not just sit down?
Having said that, it's possible for many women to use their hands to manipulate their labia in such a way as to direct the stream a bit. I've never managed it. You still need to choose your clothing carefully, and wipe etc.
