Let the doctor do whatever tests need to be done to get to the bottom of it, but in the meantime, address whatever you can yourself.
A high sugar diet is poison to the body, so cut out all refined sugars and highly processed food for a few weeks, to see if you notice a difference. Unfortunately, that means alcohol as well!
Make sure you're getting enough good quality sleep every night - at least seven hours in a comfy bed.
Take some exercise every day - swimming would be best, as it's low impact and won't aggravate sore joints too much. Cycling can be good too - an exercise bike for example.
Avoid staying in static positions for too long - sitting or standing. Break up your day so that you get up every fifteen minutes for a quick walkabout.
Drink plenty of clear fluids - cut out tea and coffee for a while.
If you smoke, then cut way down even if you can't quit.
Do all those things for about a month, and record your symptoms in a diary - so you have a measure of how you're doing.
Good luck.

This all depends on your weight/size. I get this too, mostly in the morning. Im 26, 6ft and 13st so im not overweight. Ive been to the doctors and was clear too. He mentioned something about lactic acid in the joints and in mine or case the lack of.
I take a tablet called Osteocare from viabiotics, its seems to have done the trick but still get it sometimes but not as much. Im not to sure if it is the tablets working or that ive stopped exercising so much.
Give it try....you never know
hope this helps

Your symptoms are in this list, others have mentioned conditions which are also on this list.
http://www.ylcf.org/hormone-imbalance/06.htm
Miriam wrote her story in 1997 and revised it in 2002.
Stress --> Hormone Imbalance --> "Health Issue"
As a preliminary do the on line hormone tests at www.hormoneprofile.com or www.johnleemd.com
If they recommend you obtain hormones please have a saliva test done see www.npis.info or www.salivatest.com. A saliva test will check out active hormones something that blood tests do not.
If a hormone is suggested by the saliva test please take the dose suggested for you. Size 10 shoes are not twice as good if you have size 5 feet.
The WHO (World Health Organisation) uses saliva tests.
A transcript of a John Lee talk - this explains why for hormones a blood test is worthless and much more
http://www.keepsmilin.com/transcriptdrlee.htm
Blood tests find hormones, but they are the ones on their way out of the body. They do not give the active hormone levels.
Search the web for "natural progesterone tired" and you will find many pages read and carefully select.
There is a list of doctors at www.npis.info who are aware of the benefits of natural progesterone they may be more helpful than your GP. You are about to educate your GP :-)
Natural progesterone means natural to humans i.e. identical to that produced by the human body.
For a good explanation of how vital natural progesterone is to humans see
http://www.hormoneprofile.com/howhormoneswork.htm
and other pages on this site
After having done a saliva test any progesterone you buy must be natural progesterone USP. USP means United States Pharmacopoeia. Wild yam is that Wild Yam the body will not convert it to progesterone.
Do not take fake progesterone/progestins manufactured by the drug companies they will be of NO benefit.
Men only need about half the natural progesterone that women do, but we need it all the same.
The books were written for women for a man I'd suggest Optimal Health Guidelines as a starter, then possibly the "menopause" one
Hope this of benefit to you ...

I really hope it is not a medical affliction.
I would guess, because of lack of exercise, try walking for about an hour.
Hopefully that will help. Go to the doctor anyway for peace of mind.

You need to be tested for lupus....soon. Especially since you are cleared for arthritis. The DR should have already tested you for Lupus.

If its painful go to the doctors. If its not its just normal. It may be air pockets between the joints. remember pain is a warning when something is wrong. ok
