I don't see it. Check out the link. Another Samarran mosque attack, Sunni mosques attacked,, major bridges into Baghdad bombed. All of this happened in the last week. Progress? Doesn't sound like it.

BTW, your link says US forces killed 4.... That's your evidence of progress?

Yes one step forward and three steps back.
The answer to Iraq's problem is dependent on political and religious reconciliation. Who is the president of Iraq? What has he done in the last month to make things better. How come I don't see anything about that? Maybe when Iraq gets a real leader progress can be made.

40% control of Baghdad is an improvement on what? Was it only 30% last week? I hope it wasn't 42%.

There is progress everyday, it's just the media doesn't show it. They get better ratings showing the negative, and politicians get votes, by pointing out failures.
