I'm 37 weeks pregnant (and measuring big!) so I could go into labor at any time ..
I alredy have my hospital bag packed.
I'm just wondering what do I put in my newborns diaper bag (not for the hospital .. but to use after he comes home and we take him places .. I have his stuff packed in my hospital bag)

For my newborns diaper bag I have:
*2 changes of clothes.
*Bib
*2 receiving blankets
*birping cloth
*diapers
*decitin (however you spell it)
*baby wipes
*baby hat
*baby lotion
*2 rattles
(I don't have any bottles in there because I am breastfeeding and I don't want him to get nipple confusion by giving him a bottle before 6 weeks old)

-=- Am I forgetting anything???? -=-
(it's my first baby :)
thanks!

Definately take your own change mat to put over the ones in the mother's room.. you have no idea how unhygenic those things are!!!

Honestly, I packed everything in my baby's bag like 2 weeks ago, ha ha, and my mom told me that the hospital actually gives you everything you need when you are there. Diapers, wipes, travel size tubes of different things you'll need for the baby, etc etc. She said it wasn't necessary to take more than 2 outfits to the hospital cause that's all you'll need.

I found i had to have a few more changes of clothes in the bag as not matter what nappy brand i used the poo squirted out everywhere. Oh and yes breast pads! i always had an apple or museli bar and water for myself as i always got hungry when out and about. I also found nappy bags that were scented to dispose of the nappy helped too.

Congratulations by the way.
