My kitten is fluffy, and sort of a beige colour, with dark and white bits. I don't know whether it is a boy or a girl, it also seems to have a very large head. Please choose a name for me!

I tend to give my cats human names, simply because they have such distinct personalities. I have a ginger tom called Jake at the moment and his name was chosen because it fits a naughty little boy (which he is- he's always in trouble). Then I have my two girls called Lucy and Molly, the names just seemed to suit them.

If in doubt use a baby name book. I suggest that you don't name them anything to daft, as think what a pratt you will feel when you are standing at the back door trying to call them in (my mum once had a cat called Money. She used to stand at the door shouting "dinner, dinner Money..."

As you are not sure of the sex try and choouse a non-specific name like Ashley or something.

Although for a girl I quite like Abigail or Katie and for a boy I like Oliver.

If it's beige with dark and white bits it sounds as though it may be a tortoiseshell, in which case it's a girl.
Call it something that stands out, like Brenda, or Margaret.

It sounds adorable! Sweet, brown/beige, with white bits, it reminds me of a popular malt round chocolate candy in the UK called Maltesers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maltesers .Pronounced Mal-tease-ers Similar to the U.S candy "Whoppers". I think Malteser(s) is a CUTE name!
Good Luck with your new Kitty!

Disco could be a name for a boy or a girl.
Some say that in a male kittens it looks like a colon (:), in female kittens it looks like a semi-colon (;). But even experienced breeders sometimes have difficulty telling them.

Perhaps these pictures would help you know whether it is male or female> http://manamousiamese.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/image4.jpg
