okay say i get arrested for haveing 50 pounds of pot in my trunk and i hired a lawyer to defend me because i really honestly have no idea how it got there at all, i didn't let anyone borrow mycar and iknow i didn't put it there, honestly. then mycase goes to the supreme court because of theses crazy circumstance, is the lawyer i hired indistirct court going to be able to represent me in federal/supreme court? or is there like a federal lawyer that will get assigned to me? do you understand that? like i hired pete coreyfrom corey-lipshitz law firm a local law firm where i live in a town of like 10000 people, and he represents me and then he and i sent an appealto the federalcoutrts and won the appeal and actually got into the suprem court, would pete coreystill be mylawyer standing by my side speaking on my behalf in supreme court?

Not usually. Local trial court lawyers generally do NOT argue in front of the US Supreme Court.

I would hire a very good lawyer. It is going to be very hard to explain how 50 pounds of pot got in your trunk, especially if you didn't loan your car to anyone. Is this a new car you just bought? Do you lock your car at night and in the daytime when you are not using it? Was there any forced entry? These kinds of questions will come up and you are going to have to have very good answers. I wonder who would put 50 pounds of pot in an unknown car. That's worth alot of money!
