In 10th grade, when the ACLU and Nebraska NEA shut down the Christian school I attended, padlocked the doors and put the principal in jail during school hours. Because the school wouldn't accept "state certification." Didn't matter that our school and every student in it was academically ahead of the public school. It was because Nebraska wasn't giving the local school (NEA) money for our butts not being in their seats.
Discovered CLA and David Gibbs. We won.
Bet you never saw that one on CNN.

When JFK was murdered in '62. I was 9,and thats when I started to read the whole newspaper, and watch the Evening News w/ Walter Cronkite every night. I was convinced that there was a plot that we were not allowed to know about.
I was sure someone would be able to find the truth,so I read ,and watched to find out. I'm finding out more and more every day. Too bad we didn't have utube back then....things would've been much different !

I used to like Rush Limbaugh. I used to love his rants about the liberals that were destroying America, until i got into high school, learned to think a little more, for myself, and decided to research his "facts".
I could not believe any human being would be as low as he claimed they were.
After i researched his claims, i realized he wasn't and doesn't give the complete story, nor does he give accurate accounts of political decision making.
at that point, in 9th grade, i realized there were elements in our country, that are trying to mislead our great nation for their own political agendas.
i have kept a close eye on the situations every since.

The 1979 hostage crisis under the Jimmy Carter administration. Until then, I voted straight liberal democrat. During that event, my eyes were opened and I saw the light. John F. Kennedy would never have let Iran keep an American hostage for 444 days. That was shameful.

i've got faith no person is previous redemption. The bible tells us that a camel can bypass for the period of the attention of a needle if God has something to declare approximately it. All issues are a risk with the aid of God particularly forgiveness.

When Reaganomics sent the national debt back up into the stratosphere. The debt would have been paid off (probably) by now if we had not gone nuts spending and borrowing.
