My mom was very emo. Took many antidepressants, attempted overdoses, emotional breakdowns and ruined mother's day by staying in her bed, feeling sorry for herself. She died 7 years ago at age 64. At least now I can enjoy Mothers Day. Sorry, Mom.
She also dyed her hair purple and caked on black eyeliner during a stay in a mental institution. Emo.

I think only teens and young adults (20ish) can be truly emo. My parents don't even know what emo is lol.

nope. i am emo though. and my parents hate me and so ya. my mom and my dad are divoreced and my dad is like, typical hollister and my mom only wears jeans and pink and brown and black and hoodies hoodies and stuff.
