one of my classmate is being told that he have his "own world" does this mean that he is autistic?

no i think a doctor should confirm something like this. we all have our "own worlds". that doesnt give everyone on the earth a label as being autistic or retarded or whatever. maybe they realize whats going on where they could be, is actually better than the crap we go through day 2 day.

NO just means he is kind of spacey. He can leave th environment and go to a place in his mind. Not a lot of people can do that and still block everyone out. It is quite a gift let me tell you. I just think the only reason say it as a bad thing is because they do not understand how or why they would do it.

No it means that he is either listening to music or just looking at his work or in deep thought Albert Einstein was thought to be in his own world and look what he did. It does not mean that he is dumb it just mean that your classmates need to find a new Hobie!

No. It could mean he daydreams, or he lives in a fantasy world, or just that he doesn't pay attention as much as the teacher wishes.
