We have a lack of leaders in America today, and that from both parties and from society in general. It is sad.
Usually in the course of American history when a strong leader is needed he is provided, we may not have such when we need it this time however (we shall have to watch carefully).

Last time was worse. I don't know how Kerry got the Democratic candidacy. I will say that out of all of the above, I would vote for Obama, chiefly because he is the least "political" of the bunch. He has not yet been corrupted by the other politicos and big business. He raised almost as much money as Hillary but had twice as many supporters, which means the money came from the less well-off, meaning the money came from individuals and not from people trying to "buy" him.
Too, people need to stop bashing Edwards about his hair. I don't exactly remember the story, but this was a one-time thing. Don't kid yourself. All of them spend money on frivilous things. He just got caught. Hillary I won't defend. And you're right about all of the Republicans.

I'll have to agree on you strongly on Hillary.
But you sound right about them. They don't have any independant candidates. I like Giuliani though.
Hey let's get Tom Dobbs in the whitehouse lol

Yeah, other than Ron Paul they seem worse than usual.
Then again, I see there's a Clinton so it does kinda feel like business as usual. Maybe Jeb Bush will run in 2012? Why am I getting dizzy... going around... in circles...?

I don't know: 1988 was a pretty sad bunch of individuals for both the Democrats and Republicans. And honestly, I don't know if I could be so easily dismissive of people I don't know well enough yet.

Well, first off, you have a misconception of Romney which is alright that's your opinion. But my opinion is that Romney is the best candidate and he has my vote. I agree that most others are the worst I've ever seen.

Youre only looking at the media proclaimed "top-tier" people. There are at least 3 smart, honest people running for president.
One is my candidate, former Senator Mike Gravel (Democrat). ( http://www.Gravel2008.us )
Another is Congressman Dennis Kucinich (Democrat). ( http://kucinich.us/ )
And the third is Congressman Ron Paul (Republican). ( http://www.ronpaul2008.com/ )
