RF Modulator for HD signal?

I'm trying to connect the kitchen tv to my HD DirecTivo, but only have coax run to that room. Will a normal RF modulator transmit a HD signal, or am I going to have to output 480i to get pictures on both my main display and kitchen TV? Don't have one, and don't want to buy one if that's the case.

Your normal RF modulator can only transmit ANALOG signals (SD). If your kitchen TV is SD, that should work just fine.
