I think the man should have at least 2 years in jail at the most...I mean and then letting his sons watch so they can get a look at how animal cruelty works....what a sick and twisted bastard...yeah and somebody should coat him in oil and feed him to a snake...that would be great to watch...I was like how horrifying and utterly repulsive it is to hear and read about things like these. What a ill minded person, just completely ill minded...ugghh...

That is so sick and cruel!!!! Who would sell a poor little innocent puppy to that jerk?!!!! I wish he would be sentenced to a longer time in prison. I mean how could that moron do something so cruel and mean? Then of course his sons were exposed to it, so who knows what influence that left on them. People treat animals so cruel these days, I really admire the Native Americans, they were actually nice to animals.

sad no one realised the charge was not for the fact is was a puppy, what is absolutely alright for the wellfare law, he was charged because the puppy was way too big for the snake so he had to cover it with oil to make him more swallowable for the snake.! feeding prey that has a bigger size than usual for a snake that size is seen as cruelty cause it will last unnessesary low to be killed. next thing he was charged for is because he had done this in front of two children that got terrified by! even when the judge had wantend to charge him for feeding a puppy he would not be able because there isnt any pointin the law that would forbid feeding puppies to a snake. the wellfare law only knows mammals without any subs espect primates so a puppies life is worth the same as a rat's life and they do have exactly the same rights and restrictions. so when you are allowed to feed a rat then you allowed to feed a puppy also. people need to see the things more objective and take a clear look t the facts! dogs are overpopulated and be sure this one puppy was an unwanted, or do anyone believe that guy would pay a regular puppies price fora feeder? we need to put down millions of dogs in the shelters each year and do breed another millions of animals under cruel conditions just to be supposed as feeders! ever know how these shelter animals die? they get cardial injection, not a peaceful way to go! ever known what happens to their dead bodies after? the get selled to the rendering plant where they get ground up in huge grinders and be cooked! just a few days later you will find them in your local store in form of cosmetics like soap (look for castor oil!) and ingredient of big brand pet food (animal byproducts!). and now tell me what is the more cruel and sicken to feed an puppy to a snake for which it wolup be more or less natural diet or feed it in shape of fancy labeled pet food to another dog and make him an cammibal? addictional fun fact the chemicals they use to put down the animals do survive the whole process and still can be detected in the produced pet food! dont believe me? just do some deep research about and you will see i'm right with!

The snake needs to eat, but not at the expense of another animal, helped like that from HUMANS. I had a Boa, and I just stuck the food in the tank. I didn't help it along. To coat the animal, is cruel. I think, the stupid bastard, didn't know how to take care of the snake!

The last bit is interesting and its a fact that some serial killers started being cruel to animals, and letting two fifteenyear old boys watch . Well they are impressionable and may think its reasonable, I hope it was one of them who told the police.
Although I saw my local pet shop owner feed a live rat to a monitor lizard, is that OK cuz it was a rat or are they all gods creatures?

if you mean for the puppy, yeah, thats sad. if you're talking about the snake, cooking oil could really mess up its digestive system. but im wondering, what about all the baby mice , rats , rabbits, chickens, frogs, fish, or any other animal that can be used as snake food?
