I am having problems accessing Yahoo UK Mail and site from a workstation on a PC Network running through a Broadband router for internet access

Do I need to configure port forwarding/triggering on my router - this whole process is driving me crazy!!

Thanks

Are you doing this from a Browser Window or an Email program? The two work differently for email connections.

If you are using the browser and you can't connect then you need to talk to recheck your internet connections. Since all the information is passed throught port 80 http commands.

If you are using an email client there could be other issues with port 110 and port 25 which will need your ISP's assistance.

And no there should be no need for any forwarding/triggering on the router as that is normally only for INBOUND traffic.

This could be a firewall issue on your computer or within the router but that would be odd unless your firewall is just flat misconfigured.
