Take your fish out of the fishtank, put it on the floor next to the bug, and then let the fish eat it.

When its done, put the fish back into the tank.

Thanks for the two points.

Is this an actual bug or a metaphor? Is there really some strange bug on the floor of your home or is there a problem (bug) on the metaphoric floor of your life? If it's an actual bug, then set it free. I'm almost completely sure it hasn't done anything to hurt you. If you have a problem, then ask someone for help. In a more detailed way.

That depends. What kind of bug? If it's something cute & non-threatening (ladybug for example), help it outside. If it's something multi-legged, creepy & sinister (earwig, silverfish, spider etc) then scream, get someone to kill it for you, or if you're alone, then try to kill it yourself (with a shoe or something. Or if you have a long stick with a wet paper towel at the end to squish). But this can be extremely scary & give you the willies if you have an insect phobia like I do.

Usually I just scream & hope that it doesn't kill me. My mother always said "they're more afraid of you than you are of them" but I doubt it. I don't like intruders in my house. How dare they break in!

Good luck!

trap it under a glass, slide a piece of paper under the glass, putting the bug on top, and hold the paper firmly on the mouth of the glass, walk outside, quickly let go of the paper, go back inside, close the door, throw the paper away, and put the glass in the dishwasher.

Bug's happy, you didn't touch it, everything's clean.

mop your floor if you feel like it.

well, depends what kind... I usually freak out when I see bugs, so I kill them, especially black widows. (i get those once in awhile, in my house). But the last time I didn't kill a bug was when I had a lady bug on my arm and I set it free. ( but nobody kills lady bugs). Hey feel free to answer my last three questions that I posted, please...

Depends what kind of bug. Scoop it up with newspaper & release it outside. If it flies, swat it with newspaper gently & let it go outside. However, if it's a large cockroach, roll newspaper and hit it.

Put it outside, use a sheet of paper if you need to. I have wasps that occasionally fly in. I let them crawl on my finger and set them outside. I don't like to kill anything either.
