Pretty much.. but then again, people are used to be debased due to their living conditions right? Why not make fun of them and humiliate them, I mean anyone who lives in a lesser standard than us deserves to be scorned and ridiculed..
Oh wait, maybe not! I know you aren't like that.. but it does irritate me and I have for the record never lived in a double-wide but for the Grace of God I could be tomorrow... and who am I to judge?

~~~ You got a hankering for some fried balogna Fireman Tony? Hey,that rhymed! Pretty good for Doublewide dweller huh. Takes more than something that dumb to insult me. Especially the "fry something" part. There is a good reason for my three smoke detectors in my "humble home". My place is big,roomy,new,has a great yard,rotton neighbors,washer/dryer setup,central heat/air,can't see any wheels cuz they're probably hidden under the house somewhere, a big storage shed, a barbeque grill thingie my b/f made which I don't use (he does when visiting) and even though black widows sometimes sneak into my place.....I'm not scared of them cuz I am so tough. Isn't that part of the rep for living in a "Mobile Home Park"? Well...if that's the case then "You can't make me go fry nuttin!" BUTT!!,you got me hungry,so I'm gonna go burn myself a microwave dinner. ~~~
I imagine that it is meant to be an insult but we Aussies don't use the term doublewide (though I do understand it).
To me it is more insulting because you are telling someone to go away - I find that hurtful and insulting.
Of course I know you'd never intentionally insult anyone FT, and I also happen to know you love fish.
What is funny is I would rather live in a old trailer and have less living cost than live in a house!I live in a small 3 room cottage now and I love it so I say to heck with them.And by the way what ya cooking cuz I want some fish,lo!
I wouldn't be insulted by it.
When I visited the US and met some people in a double wide, I was astounded at how nice some of these trailers were. I've never seen any thing like it!
Well, it is insulting if you are wanting to use it that way...
My husband and I happen to own a double wide manufactured home and it is fully furnished and fully landscaped, with a large corner lot fully fenced in, and there is a swimming pool across the street with a club house and tennis courts and basketball courts and parties each weekend and trash pickup...
Our home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, and has a fireplace, large kitchen with a walk in pantry, and has a hot tub on the back porch, with a covered deck, lots of shade trees and a vegetable garden...
It is insured for $50,000.00 dollars if it burns to the ground and we have another $50,000.00 dollars insured for the contents...
So all in all it is valued at $100,000.00 dollars for everything should we lose it...
So now, what do you want me to fry again?????
Is there a reason that you want to learn how to insult people? Perhaps you're not happy with your own life, and it makes you feel better to put others down?
