As a southern girl, I'll try my best not to take offense to that...
but no I don't fry everything I cook, somethings taste good fried (like fried chicken), but not everything.

I think a lot of Southern people like frying stuff, I'm not from the south, but I love fried foods.

I fry almost everything.....in the summer, I love to fry green peppers and tomatoes.... to go with the french fries.
I often fry any kind of fish, shrimps and...chicken.
Sometimes, I fry biscuit dough (the canned dough)....that gives delicious doghnuts after sprinkling them with sugar and vanilla...It's a tip from Paula Dean...

We don't fry much of anything around here,it is frowned down upon by town snobs!!
Yes everything is "healthy" spray with Pam instead of using butter or olive oil,chicken is usually baked or bbq'd,rarely fried,and usually skinned.
Seriously around here if you fried everything you would be "talked about" amongst the people like you had a third eye or something!!(lol)

I was raised in the south, and frying is a way of life for a lot of people I know...I've had to work hard to change those habits, but still...you can't beat fried chicken.

well when a fry mommy and a fry daddy love eachother very much they produce a batter to just the right consistenncy to fry the egg in its natural habitat

I don't fry anything
I remember my roommate told me I didn't know how to cook, because everything on the plate wasn't the same color (fried batter yellow)

You know... growing up my mom fried everything from chicken to tacos to donuts; but in the many many years since I have been on my own I have never made a single meal that consisted of anything fried!
