I'm kind of a traditionalist so no don't think I would give him a ring; if he wanted us both to wear engagement rings, then I guess that's ok but I still believe in the traditional way of doing things: guy buys ring, guy asks girl to marry him, girl says yes, guy gives girl ring, guy and girl get married.

I am not married or engaged, but I am the kind of woman that I go for what I want. If I have been with a man I love for a reasonable length of time and want to marry him, I would ask him and give him a ring. But I wouldn't buy myself one too.
