Who is "on the inside" who can tell me when Tom Clancy's newest title, EndWar, is going to be released? Please not just, 'Late 2007, or early 2008', because I already know that it's going to be in the 2007/2008 fiscal year, I just want to know what month that they are aiming for. And maybe the day, too, if that information is even available, if not, though, the month is great. Thanks in advance, guys.

EB Games say they get a shipment 2/1/2008. Only if UbiSoft don't have a problem they need to fix in the game.

The gaming industry is NOTORIOUS for pushing back release dates - that is why they have to be so vague about them until within a month or so of the ACTUAL (not predicted) release date.
Sometimes this is due to unforseen bugs, a change in technology (theirs or others - think of making something you've been working on for a year Vista compatable) - or even things such as poor time management or a major computer failure...
Even the "insiders" have no clue about the actual release date until about two weeks before the game goes "gold" - basically, this is the final version in which any changes are planned. If the Gold version passes through the QA department without them finding a (serious) bug - then it becomes the "Final" version. Occasionally, games are released with non-critical bugs just to make the launch date - the idea of releasing a patch immediately following the actual release is quite common these days...
