What might be the reasons for an opk to NOT detect LH Surge ? I'm using the Clearblue Digital OPK and also bought the Answer OPK today. Any particular reasons why OPK wouldn't work? ....Or are they really 99% accurate?

Is there a way to tell how long you ovulate for? I mean how long that surge lasts for?....Would the ob/gyn be able to tell you that if you tested??

You do not always ovulate every month. Try www.early-pregnancy-tests.com they are very very cheap. have you even gotten a faint line yet? The months I didnt ovulate the line would be faint...a little darker but not dark enough the nexy day... and then fade away. the third month three days faint...then my surge then it fadded away the very next day. Keep trying

From what I read online, the OPK tests are accurate but only if tested at the right time. The time frame is very narrow, you can miss it if you test even an hour earlier or an hour later. When I really think its testing time I test 4 times a day. I know it costs more but that way you can be SURE it picks it up. Some people stay surged for 3 days some women a few hours.
