Yes, most definately....and some women can go from being very fertile, to not so fertile, and vice versa in a matter of a few years....my mom is a very fertile woman...she and my dad would just have to look at each other and they would get pregnant....i mean, they do have 5 kids! haha. my sister had fertility problems when she first got married, and it took her years to concieve my niece...then after that, she had no problem getting pregnant with my next niece and nephew (like she and her hubby only had sex one and got pregnant!!) But it depends on the person! I am hoping I am one of those very fertile women! :)

Yes, some women are not fertile at all due to medical issues. But as far as fertile women, I don't think one is MORE fertile than other. Each time a fertile couple has intercourse on the exact day of ovulation there is only a 20-25% chance of conceiving that month.

Mormons are mostly white and have very high fertility rates, Amish are exclusively white and have the highest birthrate in the country 5 kids per woman. The European birth rate is higher then that of Korea, Japan, Singapore and China. To answer your question it is a combination of access to birth control and access to education white women are often in school during there peak fertility years and want to start a career instead of taking care of children.

Of course women (and men) have various levels of fertility.
If that weren't the case every one would get pregnant within the same time frame. But they don't. So, there is an Yahoo Answers board for those of us who are trying, but have not succeeded, to conceive a child.
