So how many loyal, die hard Yankee fans know that the Yankees will make some more history and win the division this year. Come-on, two weeks ago everyone was talkin how the yankees were fallin apart. They cut a 14.5 lead to 8.5 in 2 weeks, what are they gonna do in 2 months. Never count the Yankees out, they can put up 5 in a row any week.

they have played better lately but they still have some issues - thin starting pitching, spotty bullpen. They have won 11 of 12 so i never count them out....

Just so you know what you have predicted, at 62 games into the season, the Yankees were 31 - 31, exactly .500. The Red Sox were 40-22. If it takes 95 games to win the division (my constant in this), the Yankees would have to win 64 of the remaining 100 games and the Red Sox would have to go 55-45. Is it possible that the Yankees will do that well? Is it possible that the Red Sox will play under .550 for the rest of the season? Anything is possible, but the Red Sox have the advantage of a good start. The Angels had a slow start last year and despite their hot second half were unable to make up enough ground to catch the A's. The Yankees and Red Sox have only 7 games left against each other. The Red Sox have gone 7-5 against the Yankees for the season.

I'm a die hard Phillies fan, and I must say, I would love to see them takethe series from the damn New York Pets. Ofcourse their streak though ended by losing to the Mets the first game. I also can't stand arrogant socks fans in my neighborhood, never even been to Boston lol. I'm hoping the Yankees win the division and lose to the Phils in the WS.

Even though they've been unsuccessful at buying a World Series lately, everyone still hates them. They're still an overpaid bunch with no chemistry. They won't win it again.
