wait another week and test again, it sounds like the spotting could be implantation bleeding. Some women take longer to show positive on a test, some never show. If another few weeks go by and you still don't have a period, call you dr to get a blood test. If you are not pregnant you may need a dose of progesterone to get your periods going again

Before I even realized I was pregnant, I had a hemorrhoid (for the first time in my life) and really bad headaches. I had missed my period for 2 months and went to my gyno where she said I had a "faint" positive on the urine test. I would recommend going to your doctor so you can have a blood test if you have any doubt. Good luck.

Best thing to do is a blood test. Most urine tests are pretty accurate including dollar store brands. Most are 99% if you have already missed your period. If it says negative and you over a week late chances are your not. Make an appt. and take a bloor dtest to be sure.

It's too early for hemorrhoids!!!! Some people have to have a blood test everytime. It sounds possible to me, so just make an appt. to see your doctor. That couldn't hurt. Good luck. I hope that you find the outcome that you're looking for.

You could definatly be pregnant. Take a different type of test and one that you feel will be accurate. Or go to your doctor to get a blood test.

You're probably not pregnant.
Better hope for a hemmorrhoid.
And for goodness sakes, use a condom unless you are monogamous, married and trying to get pregnant.
If you're not using a condom or protection, you are trying to get pregnant.
