Becoming a physician assistant is a great choice. They can make around 50,000 - 85,000 yearly. Their is an increase in avilable jobs, so after graduating you will be more likely to find a job quickly. Almost all community colleges have P.A. programs, but you should call the school just to be sure. For more information you should check out this website...

By the way, my aunt's a PA and she loves her job because it allows her to practice medicine but be able to balance her family life as well.

Go on-line to the college's website and do a search for the Physician's Assistant program. I suspect it's not at a community college, but some community colleges do have 4-year programs. Do take a look for yourself. If they don't have it, ask if any college near-by has it, and if they have a transfer agreement with that college. If not, start asking that college about what you need to know about the program. Talk to their academic counselor. These people like helping others, they will be glad to help you.
