my holden rodeo 1992 model has started running ruff. I have changed fuel filter and spark plugs and checked air cleaner. It idles ruff and when u press on the exccelarator it tries to cut out. When i try to drive it, will try to cut out plus only will go 25kmh and it stuggling. It only started happening when we have had very high frosts, could this be causing it and how can i fix this.

yes. during the frosts you get condensation build up inside the tank. There are a couple products you can add to your gas tank that will help. gas line dryer or gas line antifreeze.

Start with the basics Fuel,Air,Compression,Fire and Exhaust. If the car is running like you say the check engine light should be coming on. That code should help you in what to look at for the problem. To get the code some auto parts store have the code reader to see what it is and they rent them. To second way is get a manual for your car and it will show how to get the code with out a code reader. This is by the number of flashes of the check engine light.

Yes frost is bad check to see if the engine got cracked or something. Be sure you have enough anti freeze in the radiator.

check your plug wires,frost will act just like codensation causing bad plug wires to leak (jump) spark out of them.

did you do wires, cap and rotor. or do you have coil packs.
