Most americans don't hate the french,
Just because some right-wing nut jobs do, don't blame the rest of the american population. Also for the dunces answering because of the Iraq war, well let me clue you into something, the average american doesn't support the Iraq war or our stupid pres. Bush for that matter. But of course if you say anything negative about america, you have those right-wing idiots yelling "terrorism".
Now, interesting enough, I always thought the french hated us, and I'm creole (black and french)

I don't hate the French, but strangely enough, I always thought the French hated us. By the way, it's totally unfair to accuse "all" Americans of anything.

I don't hate the French, but I am somewhat annoyed by the fact that they try to act so superior, but when you read their history they have lost about every war they got involved with. Are you aware that there were more French Freedom fighters after the war than during World War II? How is that possible?

recent anti-french sentiments in America have much to do with Paris' stance against the war in Iraq.Notice as well that America would have never gained independence had it not had the support of France against England.

stereotypes are funny and often true. lots of french people TOTALLY hate americans! but the funniest part is that they are both so similar, snotty arrogant anal pricks. thats why they hate each other so much. i love seeing french and us tourists get in fights, its so entertaining. i know everyone doesnt fit stereotypes, but enough do to make them hilarious.

The only thing we have to hate is hate itself. Try undoing decades of resentment without a special click of people who don't cut the mold and see how your patience wears down

My husband is military. Went to Paris in 2000. Was treated very rudely by taxi drivers, etc. Had short military haircut, and he was wearing white tennis shoes so it was obvious he was American. He has bad memories of France for the most part.

Sadly, because of it, he refuses to take me to Paris on vacation. : (
