There is no such a thing as what we deserve, only that which is.
That which is = Reality, and we all have reality, only each singular persons reality is not equal, therefor there is also no such a thing as fair, but only that which is.
I myself would say that knowledge is more important than any forms of material possessions, although sometimes even the act of learning must take a back seat in life while dealing with reality.

Respect, Peace, Happiness and Joy.. I don't need money for any of that. Never had much Of that anyway and I Don't expect that to change, But If I could have the rest of that, Then I will feel I got What I deserved.
