i did that and i was like cool i got free food, dont worry aoubt it, it jsut helps take down the evil corporations that try to steal your money anyway; rock on!

I actually set of the alarm at Wal-Mart a few years ago with a cd that was in the seat part of the cart. I had an infant carseat above it, and the baby got warm so I threw the blanket (accidentally) on top of the cd. I was sooooo embarrassed. And yes, I went back and paid for it, because I wasn't about to try and go through that door again without checking the cart thoroughly.

well the items where not in my cart. they where somehow put into my bags along with the stuff i did pay for. It was a few make-up items (not cheap ones either). At first i wanted to keep them because that was some of the makeup i wanted to try, but i knew it was wrong. so i took them back to the store. They where impressed with my honesty, so they gave me an item for free. i do not think i could honestly keep anything that i did not pay for!

That just happened to me a few weeks ago. I honestly can't remember what it was, but it was something small. I was by myself and already had the baby in the car and he was being fussy anyway, so I just let it go. I can't think of what it was for the life of me though.
Normally, I think I'd have went back.

I did that last year when I accidentally walked out with a package of copier paper. I realized it once I got into the parking lot and went back inside to pay for it. I guess I was daydreaming.

Yes. I have had it happen with many small items (silver charms, essential oils, spools of thread), and I've always returned and paid for them. Of course I tend to check my receipt as I am leaving the store so I usually notice if something didn't get rung up.

Yes, once when I was a kid I forgot to pay for a bag of chips at 7-11 and rushed right back in. I was so scared I was going to get in trouble.

A crook? LOL I have done it with little things, too! The last time I did it was with a little pencil sharpener. Twice in one day though, you have a new personal best!

YES! I went back later and paid for it. It was baby food that was under the car seat in the cart and I didn't see it till I was putting the groceries in the car.
I would have felt awful if I hadn't paid for it.

Yes, I had a CD in the cart under my purse and didn't see it until i was loading the car. I went back in and paid for it. I was so mad at myself because it was the Christmas season and I had to stand in line forever............twice.

Yup. I had a case of Ice Mountain bottled water on the lower shelf. I just kept it. It makes up for all the "over charges" from years past. Ha! Ha!
