Not everyone voted for him. He was re-elected because enough people actually liked him.

Well, Bush won both of those election swhile his approval ratings were still very high. It wasn't until recently people began getting impatient with the Iraq War, and other things. These past three years the President continues getting lower approval ratings.

They aren't the lowest in history however, as many people accuse, that title is held by President Truman, which is shocking to me, because he was a great President.

Because unfortunately, majority of the population are either fanatical christians or southern republicans, which I feel they are raving lunatics. I mean we have a president who wrongly got us into war, which resulted in the mass killings of soldiers and innocent civilians. He got us into debt (which under the clinton admin. was going down), he can't give a decent speech without f*cking it up, he botched the katrina hurricane victims, which is sad that the most money raised came from foreign countries and charities rather than the government. (which you actually hear republicans saying "I wish they would forget that already, he did the best he could", which I always reply "BULLSH*T!, they always bring up clinton sleeping with an intern, but which is worse, letting THOUSANDS of americans die, or committing adultery), The HORRIBLE state of health care (watch Micheal Moore's new movie "sicko"), And how's this for hypocrite, he basically tells everyone that minorities and women have a slight disadvantage, but turns around and votes against affirmative action and immigration, not to mention "katrina", which New Orleans is still a mess. Bottom line the republican agenda is to keep the rich rich and the poor poor. and I agree with the poster above me, republicans have prefected the smear campaign.

*note to the guy ahead of me, name how clintom was wrong for this country, under his adminstartion, unemplyment was down, violence was down, the national debt was going down (we had a 5.6 trillion dollar surplus when clinton left, that turned into a 5.2 trillion dollar deficit, under bush), And not he did not leave all the dirty work for bush to deal with, he got the ball rolling toward peace talks and bush ruined it*

All both parties put forth for candidates are evil monkeys so you have to choose which one will hurt you the least. That's why Bush beat Gore. That's why Bush beat Kerry. They would both have been even worse than Bush just like Clinton was even worse than Bush.

Those were our only choices. It's not really our fault. Those are the candidates chosen by the elites and then we have to pick one of them knowing full well that they both suck.

This next Presidential election will suck too.It will just be more of the same lame candidates.Probably Hillary vs. McCain or something dreadful like that.

The alternative was much worse. President Bush has not been perfect (nor has any President) but he has at least put national security as a higher priority than the previous administration. Hopefully we can get a President next that will continue to put our security first but will also secure our borders, enforce immigration laws vigorously, reduce government agencie & spending, reform our outdated tax code, increase our military strength and push for term limits for Congress (one could only hope).

Read "Kingdom Coming" by Michelle Goldberg...

She explains how Bush manipulated public opinion through the mega-churches in America....

The Republicans became very efficient at "smear" campaigns... setting up fake organizations of "concerned citizens" to disseminate lies about Democratic politicians....

For example: The Swiftboat Veterans For Truth... who are not even veterans at all... but want you to believe that John Kerry did not earn his purple heart... or something like that.

They do it the same way that the NRA holds rallies about the 2nd ammendment in cities where young children have shot eachother... they do it to make people think their rights are being taken away... when in reality, the gun companies have just been losing profits in that area...

Bush won because compared to John Kerry, he was the "Lesser Of Two Evils"; obviously, John Kerry had no plans to win the War in Iraq and it was discovered that he had a long record of fli-floppin on importasnt issues "I voted for the 87 million dollars (appropiation for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to provide weapons, ammo, vehicles, body armor, food and supplies to our troops) before I voted against it.".

Bush then was deemed the more logical choice and that's why he won.

The half that voted for him have the same IQ unfortunately. Like tends to stick with like. And don't forget Geb Bush was governor in Florida...you no where everyone cried FIXED!!!!!!

See even here they split 50/50...they should just divvy up and become two countries...maybe the top half could join Canada.

What's he done that is so great? NAME ONE THING that doesn't have anything to do with the war....guess that 100 billion is better spent on getting soldiers killed that fixing all of America's internal problems. The richest nation has the poorest people of all...half the children in America die needlessly from lack of health care.

Did you know that only 30 percent of children with cancer survive in the US...compared to way higher stats elsewhere? Like 80 percent? But why should people have any self esteem...just worship the almight gun and religious fanatics who keep you all living in fear...just like good mind controlled people that you are. BOOOOO!!!!!!
