...I am not knocking the man...I just think it is funny. It is like there is nothing he won't do...and he admits to it. He admits to the fact he over acts...
and I forgot about the Hasselhoff...he is up there too

Shatner is so bad, he's good. His whole schtick now is about being over the top and hammy and crazy and it totally works for him. He's obviously worked out that there are more people around who appreciate 'actors' who don't take themselves too seriously and don't all think they're the next Olivier. Lots of other 'actors' have taken a successful leaf out of his book and given themselves career longevity as a result including The Hoff, Pamela Anderson and yes, Adam West. Sell out? Maybe, but Shatner is no fool.

I might now not propose It. It's actually probably the most BORING horror movies in the market. The booklet used to be method bigger. I might, nevertheless, propose some thing from Masters of Horror, they are rather well films. Those might comprise Jenifer, Sounds Like, We All Scream for Ice Cream, and so forth.

He should do what old fat has-beens do and that is stay out of sight. It ruins his image to be hawking priceline (yes he owns it, yes it is a rip off) and other crap. Wouldn't it be nice if the only time we see him is as the Captain?

It's not selling out when you own what you're marketing. Few people know that the Shat actually ones a percentage of Priceline.
Not to mention that he's one of the nicest, funniest guys out there.

Let me ask you a question, if someone asked you to promote their product, and it did'nt demeen you in anyway, and at the moment not much work was coming in, you would'nt do it? He's just a guy who's cashing in on his past/current fame, to survive inthis world you have to make money, and that's all he's doing.

No disrespect to the man, but I thought you had to have talent to be considered a sellout. He isn't a bad comedic actor though.
