like a year ago everyone wanted to be a prep but now preps are so hated. i didnt even know i was a prep but maybe i am, ppl say i am. i wear hollister and abercrombie a lot but i dont really shop at ae except for jeans. im dont judge people just because of how they look and what they wear. i say like a lot but im trying to work on that. would u consider me a prep?

i dont know they say that to me it dosnt matter how they dress its how they act and if u act like a prep than ppl consider u as a prep if u act like a tom boy then ppl think ur a tom boy but latly ppl r stupid and they judge u by wut u wear and one day i wore walmart clothes and every body made fun of me pp r just weird if they judge clothes preps r cool as long as their nice instead of snobby i know my advice is stupid but its somthing im only 12! just wear wut u like best and ignore the ppl who call u prep and be ur self thats wut i do all the time a t school when ppl make of me!!!!!:)take my word it works!!!

People will always naturally assume things about you right away, by how you dress, act, talk, anything. You can do some things to change that, and if you think you're sending the wrong message by your clothes, you need to try to find what the message is that you want to be sending it, and try to find out the best way to get that out, whether it be a fashion change or changing your "like" habit. Maybe even posture or elocution lessons, although that is pretty prep... lol.
"Prep" is nothing more than a social phenomenon that came out of the idea of class struggle and people assuming that you're rich, which can make them jealous. Project your true personality, and let people think what they want.

I wear the same type of clothes but I play alot of sports, so im not consitered a "prep". Honesty I dont think theres is such thing as a prep because it's just a sterotype. Most girls who get called preps are really not but the person calling them that see what their wearing (pink for example) and are like "oh they must be stuck up and preppy" pretty stupid if you ask me. I looked up prep on google images and these were the best one's I saw. Hope this helps:

we need to get rid of all these sterotypes. You don't sound very preppy to me. I went to a school with a lot of preps and i hated them because they made my life miserable because i wasn't a prep too. That's why i don't like them.

I wouldn't consider you a "prep". The clothes that you wear definatly do not make you a prep. People just have their own opinions on people, don't let it bother you.

back in the old days -- like the 80s -- you were prep if you went to preparatory school. now preps don't even know what that is.
prep as fad comes and goes -- so go be emo and have everyone love you again.
