Yes on standing, and no on belching. I like my freedom too much. Somebody got a citation, and gave my name and address, thank God I was about twice the size of the guilty party. Turned out to be a neighbor kid. I made him pay me for missing a days wages, plus any other expense he incurred.

I had to stand before a judge but I don't think I have the balls to belch in court because he has the power to throw my butt in jail

No, but I did have to give sworn testimony and my husband was supposed to be present. Judges absolutely hate it if someone is late. Fortunately the judge was late returning from lunch because he got caught behind a an accident. I was really sweating. The lawyer was smiling.

No, I never have had to say those words in a Court of Law. I have however, had to stand in front of a Judge and explain why I could not become a Juror in a murder trial.
