Clippers were originally from Buffalo before San Diego.
Kings also were a transplant.

Angels and Ducks the only two true LA teams, and both could win it this year. A big year for OC.

Your logic is absolutely absurd. Ever hear of the Los Angeles Kings? The Los Angeles Galaxy? The Los Angeles Avengers? The Los Angeles Sparks? Just because the team started in LA, it doesn't mean anyone gives a crap about it or that it is "more LA" than a team that was relocated here. If the NFL relocated a team to LA, there's no doubt in my mind it's considered an LA team.
The Angels are just parasites, leeching off of Los Angeles so people know who they are. Arturo Moreno is a moron. Why did he just stop there? He should've made it The Los Angeles Angels of Anahiem of California of the United States of America of the Western Hemisphere of Earth of the Solar System of the Milky Way Galaxy of the Universe, or LAACUSAWHESSMWGU for short.

Let the playing on the field speak for itself. The Angels are a good team in a weaker division. The Dodgers are a good team in a strong division. At least we don't need to be told by a monkey when and when not to cheer.

And to quint: The Ducks are not an LA team, you idiot.

Kiss my *** you moron. Do you know where the Angels played their first few years of existence? Dodger Stadium. So, by your words, your gay little team had to play in the stadium of a "not real LA team." That's pretty pathetic. Do you wanna know how you figure out how to tell if a franchise is pathetic? They change their name and uniforms every decade to get a "new start." Everyone knows the Angels should be called the Disneyland Angels.

To whoever said that the only real LA teams are the Angels and Ducks; get a f**king Thomas Guide or something. Anaheim is not LA. Not even LA County. And another thing, don't be a bandwagoning Anaheim sports fan. I hate both teams and I probably know more about each team and their player's than you do. Also, the LA Kings were an expansion team that started in LA. And are still here, so in reality, they are the only LA franchise to start and remain in LA. I forgot about the Galaxy and Sparks, but those aren't real sports.

And, finally, to people who think the Dodgers should come back to "where they belong": go play in traffic.

The "Los Angeles Angels" were an expansion team when they started in 1961. They shared L.A. Wrigley Field with the Dodgers because Dodger Stadium was still being built. When it was completed the following year, they shared Dodger Stadium with the namesake team.

There were too many baseball teams in L.A. so in 1965 the Angels dropped "Los Angeles" and became the "California Angels." The following year they moved to their own stadium- in Anaheim.

After Disney got a hold of the team, the name was changed to "Anaheim Angels."

So, I think we can safely surmise that the Angels originated in Los Angeles, but moved out of the county to Anaheim. Anaheim isn't Los Angeles. Check it out on a map sometime.

Since you decided not to ask a question, I'll pose one to you: In what city is Angel Stadium located?

Let me answer for you... Anaheim. It's not even in Los Angeles county. I can understand the Angels trying to tap into the LA market, but to now gloat about being the best team in LA is preposterous. Yes, the Angels took the season series - big whoop. But before 2002, I bet half the country had no idea that the Anaheim Angels existed. There's no legacy, no lineage.

The Dodgers have Zack Wheat, Walter Alston, Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Pee Wee Reese, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Garvey + Lopes + Russell + Cey, the Kirk Gibson home run, 5 rings in LA, Vin Scully, etc etc etc.
The Angels have 5 years of Nolan Ryan, 6 years of Rod Carew, one World Series ring, Tim Salmon + Garrett Anderson, K-Rod... and not much else.

Don't give us this crap about where the Angels originated - that matters as much as the Houston Rockets matter in San Diego (hint: not very much). Using your logic, I could say that the Angels are as good as a minor league team because the original Los Angeles Angels were a PCL team.

Yea ive argued this with so many Dodger fans too.
I tell them that they played at Wrigley Field in Los Angeles(doesnt exist anymore) before they became a major league club and played their first season at Dodger Stadium.

Im a Dodger fan, but i got to admit the Angels are better. Theyve owned us for the past few years.

See ya in the World Series!!!!!!

You are obviously a retard. The Dodgers are the only recognized baseball team in LA. No one in LA cares about the Angels. No body wants them.

So what is your question? Yes the Dodgers are the Angels bit*h! The American League in general has about 5-7 teams that are better than any N.L. team.

initially, it wasn't a low-priced hit. Your allowed to crash into the catcher in accordance to the guidelines. Posey faked like he had the ball, and the runner could no longer tell. in case you block the plate, the runner has each appropriate to barrel into you, to attempt and jar the ball unfastened. And definite, this is slightly unusual your well-known participant is on the rival Giants, and not the Dodgers. yet being which you play that place, and the Dodgers have not got a stable catcher, it is not too unusual. Plust the certainty that Posey is an exceptionally stable catcher, you picked a stable catcher to idolize.

I know many people here that would GLADLY welcome the Dodgers back to "where they belong". I am a NY girl, born and raised, 10 minutes from Shea, and trust me, I am an Angels lover! Where would my fantasy team be without the raw talents of Vlad, Kelvim and Lackey? Not in 1st, certainly!

So, you would be surprised about this, and your own city. In fact, I plan to visit that area in a few weeks, and would LOVE seeing all the stadiums and games there. Don't be so presumptuous. Besides, borders are constructs of man...
