It's a fabulous song, I love the original recording and I adore the one Queen Latifa did, it's very good and mellow. Her voice sounds gorgeous and she did the song justice, too. I've only heard it on jazz stations though.

I live in San Fransisco in 1965 and I am noticing that they are just starting to be political again. in their music But, California Dreaming was and is one of the greats hit done. being a REAL hippy, it was smooth and easy.

I was born in 1948 and California Dreamin' was a hit song during my growing up years........
California Dreamin'
on such a winters' day..........
I'd be safe and warm there
if I was in LA
etc etc etc.........great music!

It s no longer pretended it s fake. And it s no longer likes it s enjoyed. the author is artistically mixing tenses right here, from previous to modern-day. "preacher enjoyed the chilly he's acquainted with I m gonna stay" have been given down on my knees and that i fake to wish.
