I had a breast reduction in December and got pregnant very shortly after. I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant with the baby I conceived. What are the chances of me being able to breastfeed this baby who's due to come Sept. 7th? Thanks in advance.

I'd like to hear from ladies who maybe was or wasn't able to breastfeed following a breast reduction. The Dr. already told me that only time will tell, but I wanna hear from actual women who've been through it.

My sister had a reduction in 1999 and she just had a baby-girl in December 2006. She breastfeeds more than she bottle feeds. I know there is a chance, but I wanna hear from candidates who've "actually" been through this.

Consult with your plastic surgeon, and your OB.
Surely your doctor told you that after breast reduction you probably would NOT be able to breast feed.
After you talk to the docs, talk with someone from La Leche League. They are the breast feeding experts.
I'm sorry, but I don;t know anyone with breast reduction who could breast feed.

I really think you should ask this question to the professionals (doctors).
